Sorry about not posting for a bit. I’ve been gnawing into a piece of whittling kindle for a few weeks, and the resulting artifact is nearly presentable.
I’ve been wanting to write a video game since I was a kid (Who hasn’t?) so when I got back from Mt. Vernon, I picked up the programming books and started scripting it out. Better to do it now, before I’m too embarrassed to say “I make video games” in front of girls.
I’m still in the process of producing the content, but all of the supporting framework is complete - the “engine", if you will. When it’s finally ready, The Jackyard will feature original music and animation. It’s free of course, and you can get it on this very website some time in the last week of this month.
What’s it about…? Well, I guess to say it’s a cross between River City Ransom and Modern Living would be far, far too self-complimentary. It’s more like what a child scribbles on the back of a worksheet when they don’t want to do math problems.

Also, we’re nearing a finalized poster for “Rock the Future", and my sister’s wedding invitations are nearing completion, too. I’ll post the resulting imagery when the envelopes are sealed and the posters go off to the printer.

My name's Richard, and like most people I love beautiful images and beautiful music. These posts culminate in the argument for both my humble tastes and my humble contributions.
Also, like most people, my ego compels me in this way: Human life expectancy is considerably short when compared to digital media. While we have the ability to live without a record, we have to opportunity to not.
